We saw all types of wildlife. Didn't catch photos of turtles here, but we saw a few. The weather and tour time of day worked out perfectly. Go on the 3p.m. tour in the late summer, early fall if you can. That is when temps make it perfect for gators to warm up in the sunshine because the water is a bit too cold for them.

We were a group of six 70+ year ladies and had the most wonderful experience with Armond!! His presentation was informative as well as humorous and entertaining. The airboat was handled beautifully by him and is definitely the way to go. The Atchafalaya Basin is fascinating! Highly recommend this tour!

This is fun tour. Special shout out & thank you to Captain Armond. He's very knowledgeable of the swamp, humble, down to earth, and extremely entertaining. We are glad we chose this tour over others. Definitely will do again. Great experience!

Perfect swamp tour for anyone wanting to get acquainted with the Louisiana swamp environment. Our guide, Armond, gave us a lesson on the history of the swamp and provided information on the current environmental issues facing the area, He also explained the wildlife in the area including the alligator, and swamp birds. The tour took approximately an hour and a half and made a 14 mile loop from the dock. We got to meet Boudreax and Marie during the tour and that was quite and experience for people not familiar with swamp wildlife. This tour is highly recommended.

Our Scout Troop had a great swamp tour with Skip. He was very personable, knowledgeable and engaging with everyone on our boat. We saw a lot of gators and learned a lot about the swamp. Thanks for a great morning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with McGee’s. Our captain was highly knowledgeable on the swamp and the animals that called it home. It was interesting to hear about the history and facts. One thing that I wish they did a better job at was policing their passengers. Two rude guests kept hitting their vapes the entire trip. Sure it’s a boat and your outside, but people are sitting behind you and it’s just a common courtesy.

Visiting Lafayette, and my wife had an airboat ride on her bucket list. We were not disappointed! Our tour guide Armond was very entertaining and knowledgeable, knew exactly where the good spots were. Up close and personal to Armond's 'staff', Marie and her boyfriend the gators. Excellent tour of the cypress trees, wildlife, roseate spoonbills, egrets, etc. I highly recommend this adventure. I will say I am glad we took the airboat in August, much cooler that way.
